How to Unblock Pinterest

Pinterest's visual inspiration platform is blocked behind China's Great Firewall. Designers, marketers, and creative professionals traveling to China need a VPN to access their Pinterest boards and inspiration.

Pinterest is blocked in China, North Korea. The blocks operate at the network layer — typically a combination of DNS poisoning, IP filtering, and SNI inspection. Domestic ISPs in restricted countries are required to drop traffic to Pinterest's domains and origin servers, which is why typing the address into a browser returns a connection failure rather than a clean error message.
